Ukraine's energy systems have faced escalating attacks in the past few days

During the night, Russian aerial assaults have resulted in power cuts in multiple districts of the capital city, Kyiv.

At the same time, a seven-year-old child was killed in a different Russian drone strike in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, as reported by area administrators.

He said that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen missiles attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such assaults as "premeditated" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.

Government representatives said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and technical staff were striving to repair systems.

A series of attacks damaged power facilities and residential structures in the capital.

Five out of the nine people wounded in the assaults on the city have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by municipal representatives.
